Institute for the Advanced Training

The Financial Institute for the Advanced Training of the Management and Staff of the Financial Institutions, Treasuries and Financial Supervision and Internal Audit Bodies was founded in 1988 at the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation pursuant to a Russian Government order. The Institute cooperates with the leading experts of the RF Ministry of Finance, Federal Treasury, Federal Financial and Budget Supervision Service, Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation and other executive bodies.

The advanced training programs are developed in accordance with the requirements set by the Russian national educational standard. In order to ensure the high quality of provision, our programs of study are being adjusted in order to keep us abreast of the latest developments in the field of the social life, economics and the Russian legislation development.

Today the Institute offers its programs of study that cover the following subject areas:
•    Finance;
•    Profit Planning and Local Tax Planning;
•    Budget and Budget Planning;
•    Accounting and Budgetary Accountability;
•    Audit and Assurance;
•    Legal Support of Fiscal Control Body Operation;  
•    Treasury-Based Budget Execution
•    Inter-budget Relations.  

Mode of study: full-time; day division.  
Students do not need to write their research papers upon completion of the course.  The period of study is determined individually by the learners and the length of the study period may vary.  
The students who successfully complete the course get an appropriate education certificate issued by the state institution. They can get an advanced training certificate if the length of the course ranges from 72 to 100 academic hours or a diploma if the length of the course exceeds 100 hours.
