The Academy library is one of the most important divisions within the Academy.
The total library floor space is 444.2 sq. m. More than a hundred people can work at the library reading room at the same time. Today our Academy has a library collection of more than 87,000.00 items. The collection includes books, booklets, theses summaries, manuals, study guides, and the documentation that relates to the financial field. Our collection of journals and newspapers includes more than 40,000.00 items. The library collection includes overseas and Russian newspapers and journals that write on economics, finance, accounting, management and business. The collection includes e-editions available via the special My Library system. There is a PC searchable catalogue that includes all the items available in the library (it includes about 30 thousand entries in total). Access is provided via the library facilities to the Internet resources available in the overseas libraries. There are multimedia resources that give the students an opportunity to use the materials located on the web servers worldwide. There has been an electronic search engine-based system in the library since 1994 so the library users can get access to various Russian and overseas databases, including the databases of the World Bank, the IMF materials and the Oxford Journals. There are e-versions of the Academy publications as well.
The library staffs are ready to render consulting services to the Academy students, teaching staff and administrative staff. The library working hours are convenient for the users. The library is accessible 6 days a week.
