The Academy offers courses for the undergraduate students, further education programs, advanced training courses and refresher courses to experts in budget issues, budgeting, treasury process, fiscal control, taxation, financial market issues, accounting, audit, banking, insurance business, financial management, public and municipal management, and public and municipal finance.
The training provided makes the graduates qualified for the jobs offered by the Federal executive bodies, the Russian Federation constituent territories' governments, local authorities, individual businesses and organizations.
Educational Services
The Budget and Treasury Academy of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation is one of the leading Russian higher education institutions (HEIs) where experts in finance and economics are trained.
The curriculum is formed to ensure a good combination of the theoretical courses and practical skills training sessions. There are 5 Faculties at the Academy. They are: the Faculty of Finance, the Faculty of Accounting, the Faculty of Management, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Applied Computer Science and Mathematics. The professionals who are in high demand on the labor market are trained in the Academy. The students get on-the-job training at the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, Federal Treasury, the Federal Insurance Supervision Service, Federal Tax Service, large Russian and multinational companies so they have an opportunity to get a unique combination of first-hand work experience and gain practical skills that they can use when they get employed after graduation.
The Academy graduates work for the governmental institutions, demonstrate good performance indicators that help them move up the career ladder and become executive officers. The letters of acknowledgement that the Academy graduates’ employers send to the Academy management are a manifestation of the fact that the quality of provision offered by the Academy is high.
Many lecturers who work at the Academy branches hold honorary degrees and awards. The awards commemorate their contribution to the development of the Russian science and system of education.
